Got his first choice left back and centre back.

The bionic man was a bonus freebie.

FdJ saga lingers on.

I suspect that Ronaldo's non-committal is holding a lot up on further spend, along with some unflushable turds.

If the Glazers don't give a shit about the debt and are gladly simply servicing them by paying the interest each year, why not do the same with a couple of contracts of players we don't want and take the hit on binning them off, such as Jones.

Gone - Pereira, Pogba, Lingard, Matić, Cavani, Mata, Grant
Loaned out - Telles, Henderson

That's a fair round of flushing to ETH's credit.

He’s gets a year to get his head round the PL, gauge his squad and sort the shit behind the scenes. I’ll complain but not hold it against him tbh.

Next summer going into next season I’ll be hoping to see some semblance of direction and organisation. Sooner on the pitch would be nice. I fear a 1 step forward, 2 back sort of season.

Agree.

A decent cup run would be nice. I can’t see us having enough for a top 4 finish (as we are at the moment), so at least a cup run would give us a little excitement.

6 of them are free contracts , the club had to do nothing.

I like ETH , he is the man, looks to know his shit and needs to be given time and the right resources and tools . The board and recruitment are the ones that are shafting him.

I don’t believe that arnautovic and rabiot were his first choice. It sounds like the same thing that happened to LVG Jose ole, he hasn’t got his targets, the gimps running have said it’s either these £#%&!ers or nobody.

By the lack of sheer numbers and piss poor squad they have he’s had to bite the bullet and say yes go for them .

That's the point though, the club would have usually blindly renewed them.

After De Jong joins Chelsea he should walk into the boardroom And hand in his resignation.

There’s no point in him ruining his reputation in this circus.

Hope the Chelsea story is %@#$&!s. If it’s not we are £#%&!ed. If he’s already agreed a deal with us weeks ago why would he agree a deal with Chelsea?
If there’s any truth in the Chelsea story then he will be signing for them.

I reckon he’s staying at Barcelona .

Snippets of the interview were just on sky sportsnews

Looks like the owners have shoved the poor bloke infront of the cameras because if the heat they’ve been getting.
