“Mars may be your first spot, but there is a star system called Alpha Centauri that is 4.2 million light-years from Earth.
"You are never, ever going to be able to get there by setting fire to things – but a fusion engine can do it in 11 years."
If something is 4.2 million light years away and he reckons he can do it in 11 years, doesn’t that mean he is planning on travelling at about 381,818 times the speed of light??
Edit - Express being daft
Should be 4.2 light years
So he’s travelling at about 0.38 the speed of light. About the same as Kanchelskis.
He is still talking out of his Arsenal surely?
