Does that mean a couple of their previous '5 times' are just 'ten penalties from twelve yards' contest?

Fair result overall I guess - looks like they, at full strength, are simply better than us in a number of positions.
No shit

Turns out Milner was the fifth penalty taker, meaning Henderson and Sturridge didn't volunteer. Class lads, class.

Tbf Sturridge would have dislocated his elbow carrying the ball from the half-way line.

Club captain Jordan Henderson

So utterly deluded as to the quality of their squad every year. Calling us shite when they're below us in the table, admitting through gritted teeth that city's squad might be better than their's. You reckon?

Still so £#%&!ing gutted.

We obviously didn't have time to practise penalties in training.

Good on you for making the trip down mate, wish I could have but I'm not even in the country anymore. Don't worry, though. We will be back. Jurgen is going to take us to the top. And not even this City team with their blank cheque book and incoming manager will stop us.

Jurgen has dragged a poorly assembled squad low on confidence and morale and got them to a cup final, and we are in the last 16 in Europe for the first time since Rafa left. And Jurgen gives me a feeling I haven't had since that man I just mentioned was here. I was gutted after the whistle, but I am so positive.

I felt worse after the defeat in the Cup Final to Chelsea in 2012, that was horrible.

He beat Southampton and Stoke (on penalties). Hardly navigated a group of death and then beat Barcelona.

I heard he already had ebola after a particularly unfortunate corner kick.

No doubt about it. Five minutes after they were beaten by City they were posting about smashing them midweek, smashing United in the Europa League and Klopp leading them to unforeseen heights next season.

Bless.

Apparently there's nothing city's money to buy good players and Guardiola to manage those good players can do about it. No siree.
