3 years left at £9.875m a year according to that ffs.

I take it back, take the £20m on the proviso we don’t have to pay him up
Interesting - thought he was up in summer '25. He's here until '26?

7 year contract What a £#%&!ing shambles. Longer than City gave peak De Bruyne, Spurs peak Kane, Liverpool peak Salah etc. Even putting the money to one side, the duration of commitment is absolutely laughable.

Will be somewhat amazed if the club end up taking 40 mil + for McTomers

Now that I’m reminded I seem to recall a few people being appalled at the prospect not only us signing him to begin with, but being stuck with him until he was 33

To be honest if I was a WHU fan my nose would be put somewhat out of joint if you do essentially a financially-neutral trade of Declan Rice for Harry Maguire & Scott The Scottish Player .. that'd be up there with what Spurs got for the Bale money & Liverpool for the Suarez money in the deals stakes .. although there'd be something haplessly ironic about a manager who worked under/with Woodward being on the receiving end of the deal ..

I reckon 25 mil + 10 mil add on if they get relegated would be a great deal.

Harry's relegation record...

The only player to relegated two teams in one season....

Unless we sign another defender, I’d keep him until there’s a bigger offer. As bad as he has been he’s not the worst to have on the bench. If we sell without replacing then we are an injury or two away from Johnny Evans being a starter

This though I'm not convinced he wants to leave. There's no way on earth it's a seven year contract though, surely to god that includes one of those one year options which aren't mandatory.

Woah, I'd stop you right there. As shit as he is, he's if anything even worse if he has to come into a game he's not got the pace of. The shenanigans v Sevilla at home ffs

I’d say European champions West Ham are probably a level above where he should be.
