Their intention was to sign Onana, Mount and a striker and then just concentrate on selling players to balance the books.

Obviously that's all gone a bit pear shaped since our players are dropping like flies and being ruled out for months, coupled with the fact we've come out the traps yet again like tranquillised sloths.

So all this we're seeing now is the club operating in panic mode trying to get last minute deals done with no discernible budget.

It's a recipe for disaster and quite frankly i'd rather we just promoted someone from the youth team of got someone else to cover these positions in the mean time.
