Pretty fair though. 12 to stay. 10 to go. Two jury still out.

Fair calls on most, although Young and Smalling aren't going anywhere.

Smalling, Jones and Young signing contract extensions (long ones in the case of Jones and Smalling) in the space of a month was one of my lowest moments as a Utd fan
We're meant to be one of the biggest clubs in the world and we reward mediocrity with new deals

It's not that I think he's that bad. It's more the comparison with other players .

A few call him our best CB. I'd say, based on what he's actually done for how long he's been here, he's arguably our worst.

I'm more just sick of the sight of most of the players who have been here since the Moyes days that have done next to nothing.

Come on, the Sanchez deal must rank as the worst transfer in football history ffs given cost and impact. Horrendous.

And Mkhitaryan has been 10 times the player for Arsenal that Sanchez has been for us. Says it all.

I wanted Memphis to stay tbh. He had to leave because Mou didn’t fancy him at all.

He had to leave because Van Gaal had totally ruined him by the time Mourinho came tbf. His confidence was completely shot to pieces because of the way he was treated.

Sanchez deal is with out a doubt the worst thing united have done for a very long time is though. Another reason I haven’t got any faith in Woodward.

What?

He has been absolutely garbage. My stepdad is an Arsenal fan and he can't stand him.

Not sure who got the better side of the deal to be honest.

Frankfurt have signed Jovic for €7m.

Sell for a hefty profit, I'd imagine.

And an ominous sign for anybody who thinks our manager will get the changes he actually wants.

Yeah, I like it the idea tbh.

England have been quite good at age grade level for a while haven’t they?

There’s that Scottish left back/centre back who’s name I can’t remeber (good start )

Plenty of young kids in the reserves look promising too.

Obviously Woodward will just end up going for the likes of Maguire (mentioned a while back I wouldn’t be surprised to see us go back for him) and Steve Bull.

Good stuff. But it will take years for them to mature.

We have no top notch senior players to lead them.

I’m on board with avoiding the superstar thing but why do they have to be British?
