Nice to see one of our players actually earn a new contract.
Highly flawed and frustrating as he is, there’s no denying his output and the impact he’s had since coming here. He’s struggled this season, but never hides. He’s ambitious, he cares (which sometimes means he ends up moaning too much), he works his arse off and he has that match-winner quality that so few of our squad have. If we can improve, he’ll have a big part to play. By the way he’s talking too, it suggests he might know who the new boss is 👀 |
