Who would be your PFA player of the year?

For me its a close call between Vidic and Van der Sar. Vidic has had more to do and has coped admirably with both Evans and Ferdinand as partners, but I cant help thinking Van Der Sar provides the defence with the confidence to perform at a higher level and he hasnt played a bad game in my book.

Van Der Sar by a whisker for me.

Van Der Sar has done well, but he has had very little to do for long spells. How many saves was it he's made since Arsenal in the league again? Think Wiganste had an estimate a few weeks ago.


Vidic has been a £#%&!ing rock. If he carries on like he is, it'll be a farce if he doesn't get it.

he's getting far too much recognition for this clean sheet run, he's hardly made any saves. its the defence and midfield infront of him stopping teams. he had a very dodgy early season as well.

From our squad, Evra Carrick Vidic

So far, Vidic, Evra or Van Der Sar from our squad as many have already said. From other clubs Ashley Young and Agbonlahor will be in the running as will Jagielka or Lescott. Then of course there will be the token entry of Gerrard. As said though, there is still a long way to go!!

I wouldn't say Gerrard is a token inclusion. He's been the scousers best player by a mile, despite his snidey/diving nature. Without him, they would be 4th or 5th.
