They got him relatively cheap. Back when the rat owners and Woodward didn’t want to sign anyone because they didn’t have a manager in place.
I get that, you don’t want to sign players incase he doesn’t want to play them.

I can only imagine how detrimental dropping £15m on a 19 year old striker would’ve been to ETH’s plans and budget bullet well dodged.
