Change of position has helped him massively. Still get dragged out of position but not as often when Williams covers LB

Did well tonight and seems to be much more comfortable playing a left sided CB in a three.

Should still get rid in the summer and bring in a top replacement though, but very doubtful that’ll happen.

Get rid.

How is it possible that there’s one Chelsea player drifting wide for the Giroud disallowed goal and neither Matic nor Shaw cover the £#%&!er?

Mourinho was a nob, but he wasn’t wrong about Shaw being thick.

Its maybe his best spell for us since he bust his leg, that isn't a terribly high bar tho.

Got dragged inside, should of been more aware but did make it out. First time he had been caught all night.

Was excellent in a back 3 to be fair.

He really wasn’t excellent. He was ok!

Some low standards on this place.

Agreed. Did his job to an expected standard. Which is more than he's done before.

Bailly did well considering his lack of game time, but he was littered with errors.

I thought Fred was our stand out player and has been for weeks.

This isn't a polished team with lots of excellent performers. Most of the positive shouts are to players showing moments of quality and a bit of character in big moments, which is enough for now.

Bailly could be so good but you know he’s one tackle away from another six months out. He’s still only 25 as well.

Whatever Shaw had - if he ever had it - is long gone.

Too fat, too injury prone and too stupid. Get this blobby bastard gone.

Quick across the ground but cant move his feet quick enough for me. Does a lot right, gets into great positions etc but because his feet are clumsy he panics and his delivery works 20% of the time at best.

Feel for the lad* as he is as fit as he is ever going to be but still has a fat arse. He has the Rooney build without the mentality or ability. Will be 20 stone within 2 years of retirement.

*Probably offset my pity with jealousy of his £100k+ a week salary

He’s getting better at getting forward and has a nice relationship with Rashford but his final ball is still shite. I still think we should upgrade him if we can, not sure there’s many top class left backs about though

Would swap him for Ben Chilwell in a heartbeat.

He's overlapping better, has been more solid since the spurs game and looks fitter (despite his impressive girth) but that final ball is still a big issue.

Hardly ever reaches the intended target or into a good area.

If he finds a united player, I'm surprised. And so was Fernandes.

He’d have been dropped for Williams were he not doing as asked.

Made a goal at Norwich, Bruno should’ve scored last night. Got in behind 3 or 4 times last night and a few times vs. Bournemouth (nearly scored), definitely needs to improve his delivery, but quite a few times he’s ended up closed down or with 1 target behind several defenders. Needs to keep improving, particularly on his concentration and actually being efficient in the final third, as Williams will have his spot if he doesn’t.

He's had a good few games and he is ok. This is why he isn't a pressing issue, but I can't help but watch him and think we can do better.
