Where did /do you play

Left or right back. Or on either wing. Could use both feet & cross a ball, but could never shoot - rubbish in front of goal

As an aside... Is wintergreen still a thing? It was widely used in the locker rooms of the 80's to keep the winter chill out

Used to love the smell. Not sure if it’s still about.

Right wing, then back to centre half, since you’re asking.

Played all over the pitch at some point apart from Centre Back. Was comfortable on either side despite being one-footed. My timing of pass and reading of the game was up there with the greats, though I only ever reached the heights of the Warrington league.

Really looking forward to the input of Red, Red, Robbo and the Cumbrian to this thread.
