probably not b/c of his age but he'd be worth the contract b/c he's a hell of a good player, you know he's proven in the league and you'd be able to market him quite well in Asia to make up some of the money spent on an older player

The Chinese market is huge. Getting a Chinese like Son would be incredible.

What on earth does 'b/c' mean? Is it an autistic abbreviation for Before Christ? Or am I getting old?

It means 'because', which probably takes less time to type, with predictive text, than 'b/c'.

Gives BossKeano more time to talk utter horseshit.

You talk a lot of shit, tbf, pal.

Since the day you've shown up you've delivered a perpetual stream of endless RedCafe type transfer drivel that would make the likes of Saffers and That Boy Ronaldo! blush.

I'd recommend a personal rebrand before this place turns on you. Some of the heavy hitters can get away with Vidal and Thiago type transfer threads, but a noob needs to be a bit more careful.

tbf Neo....i'm only respond when shit is said to me

don't know anything about RedCafe type transfer drivel as i've never broken down that door....

apologies if i just see news about transfers and post it b/c it's the summer window and no football is being played currently. If you don't talk about potential transfers right now there's not much else going on

I'm just saying, it's a risky business. If you back yourself, and have the right contacts, you could well establish yourself as a gold-standard ITK like Pure.

Alternatively, you could specialise and take a bespoke approach, like Bunks with his unrivalled knowledge of the Dutch game, or perhaps like Dunk, and just obsess about another club's transfer policy.

The choice is yours; I'd just hate to see you crash and burn so soon.

Part and parcel of this place, as you're no doubt about to find out. But, don't let the haters get you down BK, and one day, you too might get your own smilie:

Could this be honestly the delay in all of this???

An interesting explanation has been given for Manchester United’s delay over signing Jadon Sancho.

Journalist Ian McGarry has told the Transfer Window podcast that Sancho has simply been waiting for a contract bonus to go through.

McGarry said: “It is our understanding Jadon Sancho’s bonus is two-fold in his Borussia Dortmund contract which he signed last summer.

“The one year completion of that contract is going to bring him 1.5 million Euros net, and a bonus if he makes 10 plus England caps, which of course he started against Iceland and made his 11th cap.

“That is the trigger point Sancho and his representatives and his family have been waiting for, in order that they can collect that bonus.

“United are very comfortable with their position, they believe they have a deal with the player, and with Dortmund.

“And it’s our information they have been waiting it out, until these payments were due to be made to the player, to his representatives and family members.”

Maybe so, but it was always likely to be dragged out for most of the window as both sides wait for the other to blink, IMO.

To be followed by Ed getting the scatter gun out for the last few days of the window, because the amount we're willing to pay for our other targets is dependent on how much we pay for Sancho, and we'll be under pressure then with time running out and our options becoming smaller and smaller.

can understand him wanting to get paid his bonus if it's part of the contract but just doesn't come off well if that is the main reason why movement hasn't been made in his transfer....just looking for a final pay day from Dortmund

Ole has clearly stated he's not going to bring in guys on big wages to upset things in the dressing room so this might not help unless they are fully aware of it being part of his contract and part of the negotiation

Yes makes complete sense apart from the fact he got his 11th england cap in November 2019, and regardless, any bonus would likely be so trivial that United would just underwrite it to complete the transfer.
