Some good shouts already, especially the Barca 3-0 and the Roma 7-1.

Semi replay v verm in 85, semi replay v arse in 99, semi v Barca in 08.

Two stand out for different reasons though:
Ronaldo's debut v Bolton - can only imagine what it was like for the older generation seeing George for the first time.

6-1 v Arsenal - to so comprehensively destroy our closest rivals in the league in a lunchtime kick off was unreal.

This was my point. So it's basically any game we've played apart from cup finals

United arsenal semi 99

Well if that is indeed the criteria, the above is pretty hard to beat tbh.

Probably the greatest "domestic" match that I have ever seen

Pallisters double at Anfield and David James messing up Nevilles cross for Cole was great. 3-2 at city with Van Persies winner. Highbury 4-2 would Make any United supporters top 10 surely.

The ones that immediately came to mind, from 1987 onwards - Liverpool 3-3 with strachan smoking the cigar and the 3-1 with Fergie's fledglings. Then the 2 games from 99 - Arsenal fa cup semi replay and juventus away semi.

The champions league format was behind that. Which is the best example of why the format today is shit.

Best moment rather than best match was the 2 goals in injury time against Sheffield Wednesday. Also the key game that year against Norwich. 3-0 up after 30 mins.

Worst moments were 92 title run in. Nottingham forest and West Ham. Plus Liverpool to rub it in. Though the reactions of rival fans in two of those games proved important for shaping that team's future.

2-1 FA cup 4th round against Liverpool in 1999
4-1 Charlton in 2003
5-0 Notts Forest in 1996
3-3 Boro 1997 (Bank Holiday Monday, 12:30 kick off, Weird)

Would love to say Villa Park from 1993 but, can't even remember watching it. Saw the full match a few years ago online and it was £#%&!ing brilliant. Both teams just going for it. £#%&! defending

Also just remembered the 3-2 game against city when we were losing 2-0. 94 I think, just after the champions league shit in turkey.

Remember the first game back at Maine Road?
They £#%&!ing built that up to the max! The fans truly believed they were gonna do us.

Beckham scores within 90 seconds and we spend the rest of the game toying with them

3-2 at home to Juventus in 97. Unbelievable game of football.

Also 3-0 away against Juventus in 03, we wiped the floor with them

Didn't he come on early, score 2 then get subbed at HT to protect his hamstrings? Any number of European games you could mention for Giggs, that was his platform.

Well, that he did it all in only 45 minutes makes it just the more tbh.

5-2 Home to Spurs, (2007?) 2-0 down at half time. Rooney, Ronaldo and Webb were unplayable second half.

Yeah, up there with the 4-0 against Porto.

I still remember their keeper booting it out and Giggsy trapping it between his knee and his chin

Pretty remarkably, I think it was the only one he scored for us after his return from that leg break.
