I imagine the NDA would be standard for shit like this. There would be no point paying for off (which is not an admission of guilt, especially for the super rich) if she could then talk shit about everything the morning after on TV and in the gossip columns.

If someone accused me of something I know I didn't do, I would refuse to pay someone money to shut their mouth.

With that in mind, and with me being very similar to Ronaldo in terms of wealth, power and physical prowess, I would expect a similar stance.

To be fair normally it's the agent/management team pressuring their client into doing it, due in part to historical incidents in which it hasn't been done and the accused has been totally shafted. Isn't always the best advice to take imo but it's totally understandable. The more rich/powerful you are, the more vampires that will circulate looking to get in on it all.

He'd probably be better off financially throwing money at the accuser early doors than he would if it went to court, where he would have intimate details of his life he'd rather kept secret shared with the world. And most people make their minds up beforehand anyway, so even if he went to court and was found innocent, some people would still call him a rapist (as you are doing now despite him never being found guilty of that crime).
