Nargh, never bet against the club. Just think the ABUs will be out in force on day 1 of the season if Rooney scores and Lukaku doesn't, but £#%&! them.

Happy for the lad and best of luck to him (in the Scouse derbies at least). Over the last few years he might have had the touch of a donkey, but in hindsight I'm bloody relieved we didn't offload him earlier - he might have found himself invigorated and that would've been a nightmare. An amazing record, with some the best goals I've ever seen.

absolutely delighted for everyone involved.

well done jose for allowing rooney to keep his dignity intact - and i don't just mean by not playing him much last season.

Can't see him getting a regular start for Everton

Be their youth team coach within 3 years, manager within 5 and goodwill ambassador within 7

Looks like Stretford has worked his magic once again.

He will get a lot more playing time there than if he had stayed at United. Which tbf to him is what he wants.

I think he can.

Part of the problem imo. He seems to think he's playing fine and as good as he was as a kid.

As soon as he realises his limitations and adapt, the more effective he'll be for Everton.
