Comes across very well in that interview.
Does come across well. Fair £#%&!s to him- he's right with what he says, attitude has been spot on all season despite not playing much. Often see players sulk and cause disruptions if they think they should be playing.

Good luck wherever he goes next year, been a great player over the years. What a last match and memory if last night was his last game

“I think I understand what’s right and what’s needed for the club, and I respect that. I'm obviously happy to be part of that and in some way help the club win trophies, and that’s the way it’s been over the last 18 months, last year, and that’s a decision I have to make now, whether I want to continue doing that or go on and play more regular football.

“I still believe I could play every match. If you’re asking me if I’m a better player now than I was 10 years ago, then obviously I'm not but I still feel I’ve got other qualities that can help the team and as I said, it’s a decision now I’ll make in the next couple of weeks.”
Not over yet, Bunks...

If Koeman won't guarantee him a starting place he'll either stay here or £#%&! off to the States, Colleen permitting.

He should finish his career at Everton (if that is indeed an option) rather than £#%&!ing off to China or the US.

Playing for just two clubs over (at least getting on for) two decades is pretty tbh.

Wayne Rooney has given the clearest indication yet that he will leave Manchester United this summer.

After discussing whether Mourinho was now bringing in a new era of success at the club Rooney was asked directly whether he would continue to be a part of that and answered: “Honestly, I’ve said before, I don’t know, I’ve got decisions to make now over the next few weeks, have a word with my family, and then I’ll decide.”

Later Rooney was asked pressed on whether he had, in fact, already reached a decision and responded: “More or less, yeah.” Tellingly the United captain also revealed that there was no need to speak to Mourinho further about it. “No, I know,” he said. “As the manager said before, he wants me to stay, but…”

That “but” was left hanging in the air
