Bild reporting that he about to be released by Bayer Leverkusen after being benched for a large part of last season. There is an option to take him on loan or for a nominal fee.

He is only 29 and I am sure he would love to be back at United even as a squad member. Always a good option from the bench.

Bayer obviously don't think so.

His inability to trap a football or consistently play a 10 yard pass to feet is not becoming of a United player. Insert your own Fellaini joke here.

His ability to score goals when presented with a sniff is decent & he seems like a lovely chap.
