Can’t help but feel we should have started Cass and The Scottish Player, with one of Eriksen or Fernandes playing the more advanced role. Probably Eriksen based on recent form.

With a proper midfield we might be only a couple of down. But the attitude of some players has been disgusting.

Don’t buy this narrative that Rashford looks a different player. He doesn’t. He’s bagged a couple and there’s been a bit of confidence back with that, but the basics of his game are still way off and there remains massive question marks over him. 3 goals in 7 league is hardly transformative stuff.

Eriksen has been good this season and was a good signing . Just doesn’t look like a CM out there and it’s showing. Off the pace , no defensive awareness. Move him as a 10 , Bruno for Casemiro.

correct. He was woeful in 2 of our 4 wins.

A few scrappy 1-0 wins and people forget what a mentally fragile bunch this lot are.

They always have this in them at the moment. The biggest challenge this manager has is changing this mentality, they all go hiding.

There’s no point picking apart individual players, we have a worse squad who aren’t as drilled. What we do need is to work on the mentality, it’s one thing to lose but to collapse like this so regularly is unacceptable, lack of profesional pride.

Eriksen has been the worst of the lot. And that’s saying something.

United players look scared. None of them want the ball.

An achievement this half would just be making five simple passes.

That’s what makes this so disappointing. Everyone on here recognises there’s gaps in the squad and that city are ahead of us, but the progress seemed to suggest a genuine shift in the mindset.

has literally looked like a dead man walking today. to be fair to him, though, he is never a defensive midfielder. in a 2. against city.

Sancho is a ‘nice’ player, but does everything so slowly.
