On the plus side, we've won 9 of our last 10 away games in the Champions League apparently which is a bit £#%&!ing mental. Only loss was away to Bayern last term when we were winning, so at least we can score away from home in this competition.

I'd take a score draw, but with them missing Gignac I'd like to think we could stay solid at the back & Big Nanners to work his magic on the right, cutting in to smash a 20 yarder with his left peg for a classic Euro away 1-0.

Don't have any real complaints with 4-3-3 as a formation when it's played the Cruyff way, but somehow I suspect we'll see Berbs isolated for long periods & Rooney not being backed up enough by anyone from the midfield getting forward so it will look like he's having to occupy their right back & whoever peels that side of midfield as well.

Carrick wants to have a good display in the centre with the ball, he's been mighty fine in a defensive capacity in the big games but we need his progressive passing to be good going forward today.

tbf he's played 7 times in Europe, including starting in the CL 1/4's against Bayern last year.

Not like he's been thrown in with no experience as Pogba would have been had he gone.
