How is that not competitive?

It's a farce, they did £#%&! all wrong.

By your reckoning, Wolves (could've been Derby, I forget) could've been fined after every game for not being competitive during the season they broke all records for being the shittest in the league. Least points, least wins, least goals, only scored 1 away from home etc.
no, you really haven't thought this through have you

blackpool have a group of players that will more often than not when fit be in the first team. if they suddenly field a team in which only one of those players is selected then that is a clear breach of the rules.

the fact that on the day they only last in the last minute is irrelevant. or was it just convenient? can of worms.

Dunk is right. The FA have no right to say what is a club's best team and when players can and cannot be rested. If a player is in the squad then the club can play him in any match they choose... end of

dunk is right in theory, perhaps

you're wrong in fact though, cus it's the PL rules that have been breached

it's like saying the referee was wrong to send slopehead off at OT because the game's gone soft

Which rule was broken?

Not being arsey, I just find this 'you must not field a weakened team' stuff very vague and wishy-washy. Surely there must be clear wording on it somewhere?
