It’s a one in 5000 chance, but £#%&!ing it up is still a possibility given they’ve just been stuffed at Watford and are on the back of a calamitous European exit.

If they award them the title do Leicester automatically get awarded CL Football? It would open up so many legal battles across the spectrum of the game. Voiding the season under force majuere is the only possible solution which wouldn’t invoke widespread discontent through the leagues.

Tough shit scouse @#%&!s
But if they void the league who is in the Champions League next season? If it works on last seasons positions does that mean Spurs get back in despite being 8th and dropping like a stone?

Scroll down until the part that says 'Three possible scenarios'
The level of slimy scouse sycophantism in that piece almost made me vomit...

The stupid @#%&! was saying the likely scenario is play with 22 teams next season. Leeds and WBA are only 6 points clear with 9 to play. Hardly an imperious lead.

To simply void the season but declare them the winners when they haven't actually won it is not right.
It's not right in the slightest but if they moan and then get it under those circumstances everybody will know. If Klopp has no shame and accepts that everybody will know. And nobody will ever let them forget it.

Which coincidentally is how many keepy-ups you can do isn’t it?

It would be such a legal nightmare there’s no way they could declare a team champions who hadn’t actually won it. What about the bottom three? Relegate them? Nah.
But this is Liverpool, so there would be a national media clamour to give them something to keep them happy. Football’s sacred cow.
They’ll probably cancel the season let them have a parade with the trophy and keep it forever.

Have to have play offs for everything . Could use last year’s points threshold. City/scousers play off for the title lose gets a CL spot. Then anyone who could reach last years 4th total plays off.

Same for relegation.

Yeah if they give them the title it opens it up to Leeds taking legal action to be promoted. It follows if you award the title you relegate three clubs, which brings up the spectre of legal action.

Voiding the season actually seems the easiest thing to do, even allowing for Liverpool fans starting a petition.

Speaking of which, might start one for them to get the title pretending to be a dipper.

Yep, I think that’s the way they’ll go with it.

Hopefully it’s completely scrapped and we start again next season though.

do it

Whatever happens now it’s all tainted. They might well end up with it somehow but it’ll never be the same and they know it.

Exactly.

Where is the line?

What if they were 15 points clear? 10? 5?

It will either get picked back up where we left off or voided all together, you can't just say 'this part of the league is sorted, but this isn't'

Need 5 people to sign it then they will check it. Starting to think signing it Jimmy Corkhill wasnt a good idea.

Loved all that.

Pick your team, play it fast forward - far too fast to read anything - then it flashes up

GOOOOAL MANCHESTER UNITED: McClair, 29.

More unreadable text, finished. Won.

Walk away thinking you're a genius. Great game

Would boil your piss when it slowed down to say “HE MUST SCORE...”

And then you’d be denied.
