Lingard probably our best player tonight. 23 in December, had thought his time at Utd close to an end but maybe not.

much better in the 2nd half. Lingard has been great, probs our best player, wise beyond his years that lad, always seems to pick the right option.

Martial has been a great since he's come on, surely he has to play through the middle now with Boro tiring?

Rooney, he's shot isn't he? How long was his longest slump in form? Never seen him look so average

To be fair to Boro, they battered City at home (last year?) and should have beaten Liverpool at Anfield last season....They're no pushover...

However, £#%&! that! There is a problem somewhere

Memphis needs to watch how at ease Martial and Lingard are in possession.

At the moment he's just dropping his head and running which is probably why he's making so many basic errors such as over running it, leaving the ball behind him. He's probably used to just powering in empty spaces in Holland. Over time they'll be improvement.

tbf i watched him a fair bit for the reserves and always thought he was a prospect, probs needed to bulk up a bit, but he seems to have the right temperament to succeed which it times is a lot more important than you're ability.

but yeah, super happy he's doing well, he's doing a good job of keeping Mata on his toes, great to see

Wish I understood Spanish.

Creo que el hará su brillante truco de La Copa Mundial y me meterán para los penaltis en vez de este gillipollas.

didn't want him much at PSV but for the Dutch team he always turned and faced his man at pace, don't know why he's not doing that now. keeps coming inside and taking way too long to make his mind up, guess he's just low on confidence

Boro should be about 3-1 up here. Our defending is shambolic.
