Default Pensioner ticket at United

Now im "getting on a bit" these days but even I wouldnt get away with claiming to be 65 (cue piss taking!)

Now im not a member or season ticket holder any more but I was one for donkeys years so they will have my details on file

Now I was thinking that I could send for pensioners brief (half price of course) & send it to my dads address in his name (he is 73) & then use it myself

Now I have been told by one person that you would "well get away with it, man!" & by another rhat the fact that its a pensioner ticket it would show up as you beeped through & they would pull you

Any thoughts? (im just trying to get to the games on my limited budget )

A 29 year old girl (no link, sorry) used my 14 year old son's junior ticket before Christmas and she got in fine.

I've used an OAP ticket before. I think it might be different now as I think when one is used it lights up inside the gorund so they check you out. Not sure as haven't been since the new swipe cards.

Even when someone has noticed they just look at you, pause then think £#%&! it.

We've been using my dads for the last 7 years and never had a problem. Im early 30's by the way. In the unlikely chance that you did get pulled then you just say that your dad has just gone through and that you must of got the tickets/cards mixed up.

Thats what I thought then I could just bowl to the Bishops & watch it on telly or whatever. Me & my mate had K Stand STs & also 1 adult & 1 junior in the family stand & I used to take my lad in every other game on a junior when he was about 19!

Your better than that mate. It's not fair to allow other fans to subsidise your tickets.

I've been in on a childs ticket and an OAP ticket. It does flash a different colour but they never pull you. I always keep a tenner handy incase I get pulled.

I might get an OAP membership next year and really take the piss!
