the free kick,he hung his leg there to get caught, there were genuine free kicks we did not get in the game, scholes gets booked then later one of theirs goes in studs up,no booking,as for the pen he fell, lost his balance,it's not his fault the ref gave it,we get to see these incidents over and over, the ref gets one look and makes his decision, what do you want ronny to do,go to the ref and say no ref it's not a pen,i'm sure everyone would pat him on the back for that eh

It wasn't a dive. Let's agree on that. But if it was, is he the only player in the world who dives? Should he have got up and said,"Hang on ref, he didn't touch me. Give me a yellow card"?

Let's take the attention away from Ronaldo for a moment. Arsenal 'won' 2 penalties yesterday. The first was never a penalty because Chimbonda clearly got the ball. What did Rosicky do? He claimed for the pen when he knew full well that he'd been tackled. Is anyone calling him a cheat? And the 2nd penalty. Fair enough, van Persie was tripped. But what about the way he handled the ball to gain posession which led to the penalty. Now that's £#%&!ing cheating.

If he fell and lost his balance then why did he appeal for the pen ?

It wasnt a penalty and it certainly wasnt a free kick . I dont like seeing this diving/cheating from anyone , certainly not one of our own .

Great player but needs to cut out the bullshit .

because the challenge from the keeper, which he avoided and then lost his balance caused it,if he had not evaded the keepers trailing leg there would have been contact.

For the penalty, all he did was try to skip around the keeper and score. You can see he tried to stay on his feet - why wouldn't he? He's round the keeper, if he keeps his balance, he scores, simple as. Once he fell, naturally he's gonna appeal for the spot-kick, every player does it. It wasn't a penalty, but at the same time it wasn't a dive. Just a bad descision made at the time without the benefit of several slow-motion replays at various angles.

In contrast to the free kick, which was a blatant dive. Anyone who says different is deluded. If that'd been Drogba, Henry or Fat Frankie Lumpard this board would probably have imploded with rage so don't pretend it wasn't cheating out of bias. Thankfully nothing came of the free kick, else we'd never have heard the end of it.
