So their ex-Barcelona director who's turning them into the next La Masia is in fact a crook, who would have guessed?

Insight into Yaya Toure and the weirdness over his birthday cake/brother's death etc. Not hard to read between the lines - he hates it there.

While City believe that there is a paucity of English talent, they believe within three years – and possibly even two – their academy will yield such players. There is even confidence at the club they have an 11-year-old on the books who can be better than Lionel Messi.

I wouldn't mind if it was the final you could sort of understand it but it's the group stage Joe, you £#%&!ing absolute drama queen.
If he were any further in the closet he'd be behind the wedding photos and that old pair of Stan Smiths you never got round to throwing away.

He cries to get a cuddle, simple as.

Not arsed about this compitition, want to win league and both/or cups

Abysmal to be honest. Difficult to claim anything else.

Special mention to the ref though who did his best to ignore the first penalty but refused 2 others and allowed Roma to spoil the game all night with a lot of dubious fouls.

It's a shit competition and as a fan I couldn't give a flying about it but it's very important to the club and we have to step up and soon or heads will roll!
Quote:
I'd rather we'd boycott this corrupt competition than watch UEFA instruct refs to humiliate us every season. Maybe the club feels the same with the performances?

I don't know why this isn't said enough. You can probably excuse their first season, but the second year was a group they should have got out of. Last year they were outclassed by Bayern and Barcelona, and they're already struggling this season. Anything less than six points from CSKA and they're out imo.

It looks like all the English clubs bar Chelsea are going to struggle though, Arsenal got schooled and Liverpool snuck a win at home against the group cannon fodder.

If all 3 went out at the group stage would we be in danger of dropping to 3 CL places?

No, England's co-efficient is huge thanks to United and Chelsea reaching the late stages almost every year for the last decade.

2 spawny titles off the back of these @#%&!s blowing £700bn in 5 years or whatever it is and they're still improved by bringing on james milner and by sneaking 36 year old Frank Lampard into the side via an FFP scam transfer to the disney league ffs. What a joke of a club.

Yet they're livid they've not been hailed by everyone as the best team of all time. They won the league and no-one gave a flying £#%&!

Nobody gives a £#%&! about them.

European fans whose teams draw them are simply disappointed that they're not getting a trip to Old Trafford

They are a bit touchy about that

Especially with when Liverpool lost the league.
