18 year old rookie playing in midfield with our club captain and a five time Champions League winner, and he was the only one willing to repeatedly show for the ball in that first half.

It looked a great challenge to me. The only thing I can think of is that the ref thought he pulled the opponent’s shoulder in order to leverage momentum for the slide tackle.

Need to get him a partner with legs to replace Casemethuselah.

I think he was booked for inevitably clattering into the opponent after winning the ball.
