Shame we didn’t sign him from Benfica

Top player on his day imo.

Good player, but long gone. Not the first we need to get out of the door, but he does need to go.

Pray for Jem.

Just a negotiating tactic. He'll get another three year contract.

I think if he was in a wheelchair he'd still be better than The Scottish Player.

Said to before, but the departures are as important as in the signings. This is another step in the right direction.

Him, Lingard, Mata, Pogba, Cavani all gone. Minimum. Big savings on wages and freeing up space in the squad. We’ve seen how not shifting players has affected things.

If we can shift 6 or 7, that should get us 4 or 5 in.

All the best.
As said above, we need a clear out and some decent replacements.

Shame.

I’ll never forget that goal v palace.

He was a great player in his pomp and it’s not his fault he can’t hold back Father Time, even with a subtle shirt pull with the ref not seeing.

10 years younger and he’d be our captain and a fixture as our CDM.

I don’t think we have anyone like him in that position.

Fare thee well sweet Serb, the 2nd best Nemanja in our club history and poppy-dodger.

Ugh.

He was spent when he arrived tbh. We’ve got lucky that he has realised he can’t do it anymore and is doing the decent thing.
