Realistically Mainoo is the only one who holds any value who people could say he should be starting. 18/19 year old with no first team competitive games to his belt.

The teams shit and there’s not much he can do to change it around unless some injured players come back. Ideally Casemiro ,shaw, Martinez, diallo . There are 4 players who could be in that line up and actually change it up.

Mount is not his signing. No way has he ok’d it and then have him as a cover player.

Varane has clearly done Something behind the scenes he doesn’t like.

Even if mount and varane started the team is still a bit shit

I have to admit, it does sound borderline delusional. Hasn’t Ten Hag been a fan of Mounts for years now?

It’s the biggest question mark hanging over him imo. Still, always amusing when I think back to some of the lads on here saying Mount would be an integral part of the team when we initially signed him.
