I’m sure the new manager will be given scope to bring in some new players but history shows the club will still protect certain existing players and purchase players not necessarily the managers choice. I’m sure they’ll give the impression that some of their choices are part of the clubs/DOF vision, when it’s often patently obvious that they are purchases based purely on commercialism. The likes of AWB might not be in the new boss’s plans but we should be well aware of the clubs inability to shift deadwood, with some people suggesting it is actually the managers choice. Then, we again end up with a bloated squad full of deadwood we can’t shift and the owners denying further purchases because they can’t shift their own misfits…. And around we go again.
