People saying this is due to an impending meltdown for City?

Or have we just made a bigger offer

“The club is determined to put football and performance on the pitch back at the heart of everything we do. Omar’s appointment presents the first step in that journey”

Back? First steps?

Suggesting the old regime was?…

Would be happy if his job description was just to dish the dirt/lift the lid on the other lot. Presume he must have loads of useful stuff …

One of the bluemoon replies:

“This is starting to sound like we want to be guilty just because we hate them more than caring about being innocent“

You just know that’s the case for most of them.

Far more entertaining than getting giddy about a new head of drain circling.

Disappointed he hasn't smashed any unions thus far. Those caterers did a gig for the food safety authority and poisoned them, I expect some sort of show trial and execution.

Don’t fall for it, lads. Trojan horse been put in place by the Berts to continue Woodward’s good work.

Could he put forward some new names for Sporting Director and Head of Recruitment. Then again apparently doesn't start work until the summer

One of the intriguing things is how Nice and Lausanne are going to fit into Ineos' football profile. Is this going to be a pathway to Utd, ala Salzburg and Leipzig.

Lausanne seem to be on the verge of getting Pafundi (3rd youngest Italian ever to get an international cap) on an obligation to buy. It'd be an odd move to make unless he had been given some assurances regarding his potential pathway to the bigger leagues.

Would also help us buy foreign talent earlier, given the current restrictions. And France is obviously a market to be in.

Are we going to see an overarching 'group' recruitment team and then one at Utd. May be why we are linked to different ones...or the press just haven't got a clue.

Maybe Big SJR has been coming up with this devious plan for years...he just thought it might be for Chelsea

Would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about him being implicated in their upcoming trial
