Nah, not enough goals in the team. Put Haaland in our side then yes, but unfortunately our two central striker options are a heartless Frenchman and £#%&!Horse.

Would be funny to finish above Arsenal mind you, after their fans’ hubris this season.

3rd is the best we can hope for. We haven't the squad or the goals to properly challenge city. Their enormous and expensively assembled squad will be the difference, as usual.

Haaland had scored 2 in his last 11 before tonight ..

Not fit to lace rashfords boots ..

5 behind 15 to play...

We're right in there ..

Agreed. The fact we’re even talking about it shows just how much we’ve progressed.

Fair enough. We’ll ignore the other 20 or so PL goals he scored before that run then.

Rashford is a far more talented all round player, but put a ruthless finisher like Haaland through the middle for us and he’d bang them in for fun.

It’s incredible tbh. After Brentford and Brighton we were at our lowest. Ten Hag is a £#%&!ing wizard

It’s always a little disingenuous to take out games that don’t suit an argument, but it did feel like our season started after those first two games. That felt the old United. Liverpool H felt like ten Hag’s United and we’ve been as good as anyone since then.

Arsenal may be new to this, but Arteta is five years in. City are city. Ten Hag took over the lowest ebb of any United side of the last 30 years. Dealt with the Ronaldo situation and was literally given a horse in January. He’s working miracles to have us competing and having discussions about the title.

"is this a good result for Utd?"

So asked Clive Tyldsley last night whilst commentating - there is now a 14 page thread on BlueMoon tearing him to strips for saying it.

They're so £#%&!ing insecure. Check out this tit...

Didn’t want to jump to a quick conclusion, so I slept on it.....

What a @#%&!, even dragged the normally neutral McCoist down with him
Slept on it

Went to bed fuming over a simple comment a football commentator made and spent the night mulling over it

All that £#%&!ing silly touchline panto antics is for the birds at some point in a title race you need what City showed today - cold, ruthless and efficient. They were brilliant City, as much as i hate to say it. They did exactly what we would have done at our peak, rode the waves, stayed solid, and let Arsenal tie themselves in knots and undermine their own confidence.

All that shit Gary Neville got for saying that City would chase them down...
Did you see some of the team tallks Arteta did in that documentary ? some proper weird / cringe stuff going on.

When everything is going well I guess you can get away with it, but during the tough times you need more than silly anectdotes and drawings on a flip chart.

When the chips are down you can imagine the palyers thinking "what the £#%&!" and switching off to what he says

I did find it amusing that he’s spent the whole season flailing away and apoplectically riverdancing at every little decision….yet when his team needed a bit of help second half, he had nothing.

They spend so long geeing up their crowd that they forgot to actually play the game in front of them. They did well first half and completely lost the plot second half.

A giddy, chaotic mess. Just like their manager.

Weird, weird performance from Arsenal in that second half. It was like the most important thing was proving they could play out from the back through City’s press, like it was a badge of honour actually getting into City’s half and trying to score? Nah, that’s for Neanderthals that don’t understand the game

Giving it the big ‘un and geeing up the crowd when winning a throw 40 yards from their own goal after a pass was intercepted

arsenal i knew they would bottle it.

City seemed more powerful than Arsenal in the second half not prepared to let them play. Arsenal look like a team of spoilt posh kids.

Against City you need to close down KdB and stop his supply against Arsenal you need to get tight on the wide players.
