Vedder

Default Kim Min-Jae

A lot of Italian journos linking us with him over the last week and now Romano. His release clause is around 47m which seems a bargain for a player regarded the best CB in Serie A.

Is it me or does he seem a little chunky?

Really don’t see CB as urgent given we’ve got 2 blinders, one decent and one average in there

They're saying he's the Japanese Stam.

That's good enough for me

Is he definitely only 26? Looks about 40 to me.

Not a single UK journo picking up on this which makes me think it could be agent driven. He's superb though. Fast for his size.

Would probably help if he was Japanese

I think Simon Stone has.

Has to be the Maguire replacement

Obviously ETH isn’t comfortable with Lindelof being 3rd choice CB going forward with Varane’s injury record

Still strange spending this sort of money on a squad CB when we don’t seem to want to put that sort of money towards a keeper who could transform us

Rumours of moving to a 325 formation next season. Guardiola switched to that second half of this season and apparently Erik played something similar at Ajax. Explains the Mason Mount interest too.

Dave
Kim Varane Shaw
Martinez Casemiro
Rashford Mount Bruno Antony
Holjund

Something like that. Martinez playing the role Stones does for City

Replacement for Varane I guess. Varane is made of glass and he hasn't been all that since he joined. I've never trusted his skinny ankles tbh.

Absolutely no chance we don't play wingers/wingbacks.

Bloody hell, you don't wanna mess that sentence up.

Anyway, his having a release clause means £#%&! all, as we'll probably leave it till it expires then may more for him last minute like bog brush.

Doubt he would be a 'squad' CB tbh. Reckon he'd start 35+ games if he came in. Probably even the #1 CB

He'll rotate with Varane and eventually take over.

We can't miss the chance to sign the Vietnamese Baresi for less than a Bissaka.

Maybe we'd sandwich him between Varane & Martinez for a back 3? Either way, Maguire is toast.

Would also suit Utd commercial strategy as the Japanese market is a very lucrative one. Never seen him play but I'm all in.

Not saying you’re wrong but that looks horribly narrow and an open invitation for an half competent opposition wide player.
