Dembele done. Cavani; Telles; Vdb; traore is actually a great window. It’s just the shambolic nature of it all that makes it so bad. Plus the lack of a centre half.
No centre half and no Matic replacement. It's clearly not a good window.

BTW I m not saying we should get Sancho instead just with all the issues we have a skinny young Russell beardsmore or Luke Chadwick is the last thing we should be looking at especially at £30m + and not in until January.

Surely this kills the Sancho deal even next season?

We needed a replacement for Gomes.

I think the reason we didn’t sign him already is complications around his situation. So negotiating for January seems about right.

I agree we are desperate for a CDM. Just saying on paper, it doesn’t present as a terrible window.

Sancho wouldn’t have been a priority for me this window anyway tbh if we had no cash. (Which we don’t)

Didn’t wanna pay for 25m for 17 year old bham captain Bellingham but 30m for this @#%&! who’s played about 30 mins of senior football. Fantastic from United again

£35m on Donny + wages
£50m-60m+ on Dembele + his large wages
£10m signing on fee for Cavani + £200k p/w wages
£15m on Telles + wages
£10m on Pellistri - 18 years old
£30m on Traore - 18 years old

Feels like maybe we're less reticent to spend money, and instead are just £#%&!ing dumb about how we actually spend it.

It's probably because Atalanta will take being paid on the £#%&!ing never-never. Birmingham probably wanted money up front.

And as we know, our club don't like that.

£20 we could have added to the Sancho gap and got him a month ago.

Instead, we compromise.

We're dicks.

We've got at least 7 cb's who are nowhere near good enough and we haven't managed to shift one. Neither of our first team full-backs create any sort of attacking threat and despite shipping 11 goals in our first three games we have signed precisely no-one to upgrade the defence with about four hours of the window left. I'm struggling to see how it's a great window.

If we'd have got our deals done early it certainly would have helped make it seem like we're competently run but we have huge gaps in the squad and the majority of them haven't been fixed. Unless I'm forgetting anyone we haven't sold a single one of the utter shit@#%&!s that have been responsible for our slide into mediocrity this window either.
