Well if we really do get this wrapped up quickly, maybe all is not lost this summer after all - but I will still believe it when I actually see it.

It’s a fast deal if you ignore the fact we spent the whole of last summer chasing him too.

Given our past form on these things, I will be grateful for whatever we can get.

We need about 6 first team players, we'll drag this out all summer, & that'll be it, @#%&!s.

I'm the same.

It's how I felt when Ralph Milne signed.

He's an improvement on James and we need more forwards.

As long as Greenwood gets the minutes he needs, it can't really be bad things. Just not the most exciting transfer in the world when we're desperate for a centre back.

But we know Ed and his idiots cannot conduct more than one transfer at once so we have to wait for the centre back.

I think a lot of it stems from us chasing Him for a year - we’re just sick of hearing about it. If we signed him out of the blue, I think we’d be more up for it.

As for England, they also didn’t start Grealish or Rashford and Tyrone Mings has become an important figure, so I wouldn’t read too much into that.

If we signed him quickly, we'd have to pay an extra few weeks wages. People would then expect another signing. He'd not be able to flog the new shirt/sponsor in his scarf shot.

Our owners are @#%&!s and took 11mil out the club yesterday for themselves.

They'll be getting 70000 back next season filling their pockets too.

He's a world class forward in the making mate. Slightly more than just an improvement on James ffs.

Great signing.
