I’m not sure the club even really think like that. All our own appointments since Moyes have been reactive. We even had ‘people’s choice’ Poch available last season and didn’t go for it.

That's not happening. That would require foresight on the part of the people running the club.

I’m not sure there really is one, is the problem. Definitely an element of better the devil you know for the foreseeable.

If I was Ole I’d be making moves to put a team of coaches around me that could make up for my shortcomings..

The club won’t replace Ole unless it absolutely has to in a complete no brainer sense. Once he’s gone the protection from the fans erodes.

It was a savvy savvy appointment.

Most are giving him a chance before pissing all over the bedsheets imo
I hear what you're saying, but likewise think the discontent is growing. All this negative 'if we don't make it out the group stage he should go' bullshit, without any thought whatsoever as to how that could affect longer term stability. Or how long it's taken for others to achieve greatness. Quite surprised at just how pissed off it's making me.

Having these concerns isn’t ‘turning on Ole’ either.

Are completely incapable of any nuance anymore on here?

Can you like a lot of what the manager does, but still have concerns?
Can you question these without wanting him instantly sacked?
Can you be pissed off at a 95th minute winner without it meaning you’re a child/spoiled/bed wetter etc? ...
People can have that reaction without it reflecting what they feel in a broader sense.
People can question Ole all they want, no harm in that. It's not like Fergie didn't getting his fair share of grief on here over the years. It's the almost palpable feeling that certain people actually want or expect him to fail that is the real pisser here.

People were posting on Red Issue tbf, and were mostly pretty venomous too. That loss to Lille in particular was a real low point of Fergal's reign.

Excellent start to the season

Making plenty of chances and have the best player in the world to tuck them away

Lots of competition for places

Subs coming on and making a difference

Winning despite the officials doing everything to stop us

Unbeatable away in the league

ON!

And all while not playing that well

You’d hope that when it clicks it’s going to be pretty special

Yeah, the record extended by another game. Not that it really matters, but still
