I think your question is whether the forecast rate of return is the averaged annual or total cumulative return?

A 10% total return on equities over 10 years would be historically very poor*. A compounded annual 10% growth rate would be above average.

The long-term annual returns on equities are around 7% iirc...with wild deviations either side of course.





*Japan is still well below its 1989 stock market peak.

Are you planning to start top slicing the profits or put a trailing stop loss in?

Gotta be done, i donít have a clue with shares etc tbh, but a good little tip has to be shared, even with the DYOR disclaimer.

Iíve not taken anything out as of yet, but take initial stake out soon and then just leave the rest in long term. Or may just let it ride
