There’s a bit in the first half where he cleared from the penalty box got up in seconds and charged salahs shot.

Literally my brain went to vidic,it’s been so long since we have seen proper determined defending .

I said last week against Brentford he didn’t do too much wrong with regards to his heading which was what he was being slagged off for

We havent had a character like him since the fergie days, he will be a KEY KEY pillar for ETH.

Fantastic performance. If him and Varane (big if) could be available all season, that would be lovely.

Love him. He and malacia are gonna be stars for us

Superb defender. He did a double block on Salah second half as well. Lovely passer of the ball but also knows when to put his foot through it

Not many opposing players will fancy stepping up to us with him and Cassemiro in the same team. Make Utd nails again.

Dare I say it varane had that calming Rio presence and Martinez had that determined dogged vidic defending.

It’s only one game but that’s where the expectation is now. Hopefully it continues

Yep. Back to the days of winning battles without setting foot on the pitch. Genuinely think Casemiro is going to command a lot of respect.
