He will have to leave the country, despite being innocent in the eyes of the law. Will end up a folk hero in Istanbul.

If it's true that they're back together it paints a different view on the whole situation imo.

Interestingly if he played for a certain London club, he'd of played throughout this and probably fighting for golden boot

Don't see a way back for him at all.

Bring him back.

Like a new signing
People welcomed back Ronaldo after the allegations made against him, and even the statement that he made to US cops was leaked.

Plain and simple. If it went to trial and he was deemed innocent then fair enough. However he hasn’t, dropped charges due to withdrawal of evidence does not mean innocence .

He’s had this explained to him several times and always chooses to conveniently ignore it

Actually find it a bit sad that there’s a not insignificant amount of people on here defending Greenwood. Always felt like while we might all disagree on loads of stuff, this would be something the forum would generally be aligned on.

Put you violin away you square.

Mason is a young lad who was in a toxic relationship and yes may made a few mistakes but i wouldn’t condemn a 20 year old for the rest of life

Also the fact the police aren’t taking any further action .

Because the police can never be wrong right?

They’re not taking it further because the withdrawal of evidence. You can’t convict someone if there is no evidence. In this specific scenario there is evidence but the victim doesn’t want to provide it .

I don't think his career should be finished, I just don't want him here.

And I suspect neither does our manager.

it does.

but we can't see the picture.

it could be that she's coerced or it could be that she's forgiven him.

if it's the latter, I am not sure that anyone else's opinion matters.

(also, if she has only forgiven him because he plays for united, we should not undermine this by making her a wag for a shit team.)
