Ability is disgusting. That pass with his left foot to Lukaku at Arsenal the other week. Most players couldn't do that with their strong foot.

Whatever his inconsistencies (and he's still scored 14 goals and counting this season) it would take a brave manager in our current state to say sell him and crack on with what we have. Team still needs building around him tbf. Next season huge for him.

He’s truly a bit of a phenomenon in what he’s capable of. The question is what is he prepared to do to prove it regularly..

It’s a tough call.. but imagine him doing that shit on the reg for Barca/Madrid

we all know that when he can be arsed, he's a fantastic player.

the difficulty is getting him to be arsed for every game we play.

when him and martial have an off day, the whole team has an off day, as we saw at wolves.

That’s why we need more creative footballers in the side

You can’t rely on one player for practically all your creativity as nobody produces every single game

Zidane loves Navas. Why wouldn’t he?

If you're not fully committed to a team as big, successful, historic and wage generous as United. You cannot be considered a United legend.

That's why I don't have love for *Rooney, Ronaldo or this chump.

Robson, Cantona, Best, Law, Charlton, Giggs, Scholes.

Proper United men.

*(remains under review).

Your point falls apart by putting Best in the commitment crew.

Unique situation. Wasn't desperate to leave United to go play for whoever the £#%&! was a big, flashy UK/Euro rival at the time.

Tbf looks like he's trying to do that for us. But that pass looks shit if Griezeman doesn't anticipate it and keep running. Which is what hes dealing with at United.

The onus is on us to bring in quality players for him, and a few others, to play with.

Don’t be £#%&!ing silly. He carried a team worse than anything Moyes produced for years whilst Busby and Edwards sat on their stash.

Little wonder he got pissed off. Had no international profile due to playing for NI and went from being the main reason (with Law, Stiles & Charlton etc) we won the EC to relegation in six years with Ian Ure, Paul Edwards, Carlo Sartoti. His fault obvs.

Yep. Find him as frustrating as anybody but he has the talent to play right at the top. .. and he will but really needs players who are at his level or he is wasting his talent. Ask George Best (can’t obvs)

He left two years ago, what are you waiting to review?

Fwiw I was :seething: with him after his first transfer request and it was tough watching him stink up the attack for the last few years but the bloke is a United legend. Would struggle to separate his top 10 goals for importance or all round mintness and for someone who was one of the top players in the world he accepted his diminished role in the team very well, cf that last league cup final.
