I’ve loved him from the start, but his critics are right to expect a lot more from him at this stage. His talent is amazing. There aren’t many things he can’t do. He needs to bring more of himself.

(I thought he played pretty well but it’s no good of he can’t do it more often than not)

The rashford second goal was a bad first touch from him; think he kicked it further Infront of him than he wanted. There is a player in him somewhere, but I think he is nowhere near ready to lead the attack for us. Much like most of the squad his lack of leadership, ruthlessness, application is not there. Look at Rooney, cantona, Hughes, ronaldo, van persie, even Andy Cole and Ruud, they all have a sense of determination and drive about them that martial doesn’t. I feel the lack of consistency and need to go down a goal before they react is due to mentality . One or two more players with Bruno’s mentality and we can challenge. CB and DMC, who have a good work rate would be amazing. Then martials mentality won’t matter as much as he has 4 or 5 other players pulling the team through when he plays bad.

He is young and still has time and bags of potential to go on to do great things. Feel like he’s much more of a winger than a CF. Problem is right now rashford plays the wings arguably better than him .

I think he could try rashford RW martial LW and cavani or someone in the middle . There is time on his side and I hope he becomes a great player for us. He has his first goal now so hopefully he can kick on and go on a run

Yep they seem to complement each other - both can be hit and miss which needs improving but like has already been said when it clicks its a joy to watch
