Thumbs up FC United bid for the play-offs this Saturday

Last night saw Leigh unexpectedly beat Bradford Park Avenue, setting up a win-or-bust final league game for FC at home to Bradford on Saturday.
The permutations are multiple, but the task is simple: beat BPA and the play-offs, and a possible amazing fourth consecutive promotion, beckon – provided Kendal don’t score a bagful against Buxton.

We could finish as high as third or as low as eighth! Squeaky bum isn’t in it.

As an added bonus, an Eric Cantona mask will be handed out to every fan at the turnstiles, provided by the makers of Looking For Eric.

Of course, with the match at Old Trafford kicking off at 5.30pm, many reds will be unable to attend FC.

But if you’ve not got a ticket for OT and were planning on going to the pub anyway, why not watch FC first? The last two games have seen attendances of 3,120 and 2,840 with a brilliant atmosphere each time, and many Reds went for the first time on Easter Monday to see FC denied 3 points after hitting the woodwork twice.

After the match everyone will be piling into the local pubs to watch United v Spurs.

It should be an incredibly exciting end to the season and everyone is welcome.

The clubs manifesto- http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/manifesto.php

The only one you can be thinking about is-

Wherever possible the club will strive to avoid outright commercialism.

Considering FC make no money and are just helping to promote a film about Eric Cantona then I struggle to see where anybody could even find any form of conflict with the clubs ethos, not even Carrick.

are nantwich, fc, and bpa the 3 promoted teams from last season?

that's quite an achievement for all three of them to be in contention for the play-offs.

afc wimbledon is a fantastic story, i genuinely hope they get football league status soon. what happened to them was a nightmare.

a mate i went to uni with was heavily involved in setting the club up and i know how hard everyone had to work to get them where they are.

top stuff.
