Very confusing from the lad in all honesty, in Germany he was always trying things but here he's getting past his man now & then choosing to play it safe (which is bad enough) but worse he's £#%&!ing up the simple 5-10 yard pass to a teammates feet

Doesn't appear to have a lot of heart, despite all the talent.

He's been hot and cold this season, often in the same game.

How can you score a goal like he did v Liverpool then stink the place out after? Confidence ought to be sky high

From that game he was playing all right, until the berties game. Since then he's gone right back into his shell.

Aslong as he shows progress. Nobody is expecting the finished article but you look at dalot, he has been playing really well recently. He’s not the second coming of Cafu. But he’s played well and improved as a player under ETH.
2 years? You sure?

I’ve been one of his critics but I’d have definitely brought him on today. His ball retention tends to be good and we could have used him slowing things down last 20.

Is it me or is he often ill? Seems like he's unwell a lot more often than the majority of footballers. Last year I heard he had an ear infection during pre-season, and it seems like he's missed several games since then due to illness.

Even his immune system is slow to react to danger. Not a good sign.

I said it before, I think he's carrying an injury and played through it a bit. Something similar to Martial's when he couldn't sprint full pace.

We're all going "Jesus, I never realised he was this slow" but for his goal v chelsea last season he showed decent pace.

40 secs in

Haven't seen him openly running like that this season.
