If the paying public were docile on Saturday, so were some of Mourinho’s attackers. “Not a lot of movement in front,” noted Pogba. Last month he suggested he would be fined if he said what he really thought. Once again he hinted it would be undiplomatic to reveal his true beliefs. “Obviously we should show more options of playing but I cannot say that because I’m a player,” he said. “That’s my way of thinking: we should move better, we should move more.”

Pogba for player/manager IMO.

Seems to have a far better understanding of United’s identity than the grey @#%&! currently in charge.

Don't remember being caught dwelling on it being in the manifesto.

Non-playing manager would be fine.

The skill set this lad has is astonishing - has everything two footed - decent in the air good shot can take dead balls - fantastic range of passing. Can be a bit of a tosspot but he's a modern footballer.

Need to make him captain and build the team around him.

the trouble is, he's going to leave in the next year or 2 max.

if he proves himself to be attractive enough for madrid or barcelona.

Slow down. Let him make his case. We need to absorb the information.

Maybe he's dwelling out of frustration from the lack of movement in front of him.

I've been saying this for years - kind of a shit or get off the pot strategy. Problem is, Mino is likely to upturn that pot over Woodtard's head at any given moment.

Can't trust the lad.

Pogba has come back with a kick in his stride after the World Cup.

Remember him arguing with Mourinho on the sidelines during a game? Mourinho hooked him shortly after.

Winning the World Cup vindicates Pogba's capability under the highest pressure - in his mind. He has Mourinho sussed out now.

"It's not me, it's you"

Next time Mourinho tells him to be more like Fellaini.

It should be our captain coming out with this shit.

Then again he's only lived in the country a decade so still needs time to learn the lingo.

Hilarious that simply because this £#%&!ing mercenary is chucking snides at our manager that people seem to have completely Heyseled his atrocious, lackadaisical performances in a United shirt as if he's fit to lecture people on how United should play.

Yes, paul. United should play fast attacking football. Part of that would be you releasing the ball quicker to the front players instead of putting your foot on it in the centre circle and inviting the opposition to tackle you before falling over and looking at the ref.

In short, £#%&! off Pogba. You've walked out on us once and you'll do it again, you £#%&!ing snake.

I think most of the time he has to hold onto it as no one is making runs. There was no one in wide areas on saturday - acres of space - the full backs must have been told not to go too far. So everything is compressed in the middle third - I don't think either full back overlapped a midfielder and put a cross in.

Lingard is the only one who moves defenders around Sanchez less so. It's shockingly static.

The most shocking thing is hearing supporters who have watched endless recounts by Fergie, Neville, Scholes, Rio, et al explaining the fundamentals of what made us so great actually promoting the opposite. Why are we acting like Pogba is doing us a favour by deigning to play here?

Just as in normal life attitudes in football are changing . The era they recount is long gone . Getting harder to feel any connection to the club & moreso the players

Not buying that. If it's a generational thing, why's it only affecting us?

We're riddled with mercenary syndrome. Because we're trying to solve all our problems with money. Only makes it worse.
