What a fine job we’ve done since Fergie retired. The no-marks of Europe. Everyone laughing at us.

Well done all involved.

Coaching is only going to do so much with some of the dross available. There are gaps all over the pitch in terms of what's needed. United might have the numbers but where's the alternative to Lukaku, where are the (proper) wide players especially from the right? Who is pulling the strings in midfield? We all know what's up with the defence.

Just awful, from top to bottom.
juve didn't play like one of the best teams in europe. valencia passed the ball around better than us too. coaching is a massive part of it. there's no excuse for the lack of desire or organisation. passive, sitting back shit first half, as usual. the defence actually played well. the problem is with the front six. whining about not being backed in the transfer market is (a) pathetic and (b) ignores how much money we've spent. pogba should be £#%&!ing running a game like that. as for lukaku... it is better not to speak of him.

If Juve beat us in Turin they'll have won the group already when Valencia go there.

Not sure it matters anyway. The idea of us causing proper teams problems in this competition, let alone winning it, is laughable.

maureens post match pressie was a killer, when asked about the result he more or less said it's to be expected as they have better players, but we did as well as could be expected given we're a bit shit. that's your fault you @#%&!

Atmosphere was absolutely electric last night, but for a lucky goal and coming under a lot of pressure from arguably one of the best in Europe we held our own.

Very good in the second half and probably deserved a draw.

We will get out if the group.

Those saying we don't deserve to be in this stage

Maybe this club isn't for you...

Very odd to suggest we don't deserve to be here. You get there by deserving to get there and finishing in the top four.

Whether we can compete is another story.

There was no disgrace in losing last night and we've played far worse, but it once again highlighted the complete lack of progression of the side.

Our last three CL home games

Who gives a £#%&! about top four is this is the level we're producing once we're in the CL.

They are one of the best in Europe.

Apart from a very lucky goal we were in the game until the final whistle...

I know. I watched it mate.

We were in it as much as any team at 1-0....but we created nothing and the closest we came was a 25 yard pot shot.

Juventus were as comfortable as a team could be at 1-0 in an away game. They were sloppy and should have won by more.

We worked hard, no complaints.... but the gulf in class was massive and our main weapon was Ashley Young swinging crosses in.

Last night wasn't the problem....Just further evidence of how we're going nowhere.

As in, we were in it based on the score alone. We never actually looked like scoring. The game should have been comfortably won earlier by Juve.

We were still in the game in so far as we never conceded another goal, but Pogba’s effort aside, we never looked like scoring. As you say the gulf in class was huge in the first half, less so in the second.

Lucky goal? The only thing lucky about it was that it was the only one we conceded. If we’d gone in for half time two or three down, there could be few complaints
