Default Frank de Boer

After 4 games, 4 defeats and 0 goals, it seems the axe may soon be coming down on Frank de Boer getting the chop. Doesn't seem to have much luck, or is just shit, after only lasting 88 days at Inter Milan.

Talks of Big Sam returning () or Roy Hodgson ().

What do people think - should the board give him more time or give him the chop before the rot sets in? Next games are against Chelsea, us and City

Personally, not usually against a man getting the chop after barely five days but with his next three fixtures more than likely giving him zero points, not looking good for him.

Can't sack him on the basis of yesterday's game. They were far the better side.

Or the basis of the first 4. Chairman chose him, needs to back him.

If he sacks the manager he should sack himself too for picking someone who he thinks is shit after 4 matches

Was waiting for palace on my Acca for £160 so he watched the game quite closely, they battered Burnley and were really unlucky imo. Looking from the outside it's a crazy sacking.

Before De Boer got the job;

“We really want somebody who feels they can come in and help us improve the footballing side of the club over a long period of time,” Parish told American radio station SiriusXM FC.

“That is what we are looking for. In the past we have had managers like Steve Coppell who have been at the club a long time and helped build the club. If we could get one of those relationships again that would be preferable.

“At the moment we have a long list and are honing that down. It is about what direction we want to go in from a playing style. We have got a personnel and a way of playing. It has served us well. Do we try and change that again as we did with Alan [Pardew]? Or do we stick with what we have and try and be what we are, which is pretty effective?

“That is the first question we have to ask ourselves. That will inform probably where we go on the list of managers. After that you are just looking for somebody who has got a long-term view for the club. We do not really want someone who sees it as a stepping stone.”
