Football When did Mark Hughes become the complete ABU @#%&!?

And do you hate him or is he 'just doing his job'? More comments about us and José this morning. Tbh, he was my hero growing up, I had his genuine Wales shirt that he wore against Spain - absolutely wonderful.

Let's face it though, as soon as he's out the door, he's been an absolute £#%&!ing #@&%!. At City I think it started for me. Sour @#%&! with a dig always ready for anything United. And before Keane is mentioned, he's angry at United but at times he's said things the Fans has and we know he detests Ferguson more than us - you can't say that about Hughes, bitter in every way.

Genuinely hate the @#%&!.

Struggled with it for years, absolute #1 hero for me as kid. Tried to ignore his dickishness for a long time, still can't fully hate him just disappointed.

Can't see why he seems to hate Utd, it's not like he had any more miles on the clock after he left.

Genuinely hate the c***.
Doing his job, no different than Jose's constant jives towards Wenger.

Typical Captain Deflecto by Jose.

Still remember many years ago when Blackburn parked the bus for a 0-0 with Arsenal at the Emirates and Fabregas went up to him at the end saying "didn't you play for Barcelona". Hughes should have smacked the @#%&!.

He should have replied, "didn't you?"

Great player for us, one of my first heroes in the shirt, but has turned into an absolute @#%&! since.

The restrained seething and by Christ do I mean SEETHING after the 4-3 derby win was £#%&!ing beautiful.

And Fergie in the middle of it all was laughing and joking with the fourth officials right in front of the bitter @#%&!

2008 was when he turned full-on ABU @#%&! for me. "I hope we win" he said in the ITV commentary box before Utd/Chelsea in Moscow. "We" being Chelsea.

Hilarious how his sacking at City was handled too.

Loved him as a kid, no real problems with him since he left..

Always struck me as a great pro, gets on and does his job. Yes, he was fist pumping his team scoring an equaliser last weekend (it's his job), but also wasn't he/ isn't he favourite in the EPL sack race?

Decent mid table team manager imo.

Not his biggest fan, but in mitigation he's never really changed. He was a dour, mardy @#%&! as a player; only difference being that back then he was doing it for us.

Let's be honest, from a footballing standpoint we will make good strides under Mourinho, but let's not pretend he doesn't have a bit of girl about him.

(Or, and I agree with you )

When he was out on the field he was on the job.

Apart from when Barca came sniffing
