City looked alright but let's have it straight, Spurs defending was lazy, tired and a disorganised mess. City were literally walking past defenders and getting 1v1 with the keeper at will.

Yeah looks like he's going to be one of the top cbs in a couple of years

Where does he fit into their side at the moment though? Aldeweirald (so) at right back? Or do they a play a three at the back these days?

Give them options. Alderweireld and Vertonghen both missed stretches last season didn't they? Plus they can go 3 at the back. Huge upgrade on Wimmer, or whatever that clown is called. Think West Brom want him to replace Evans..

They need more from Alli, Kane and Eriksen's understudies, that shit striker, the French winger and Winks.. that's where they are weak now.

Or maybe...

I hope we're keeping tabs on the De Ligt kid who played at centre half for them in the Europa Final. Looked fantastic for an 18 year old.

Would've done him no good to leave this summer but let him develop in the Dutch league and make sure we're at the front of the queue if he is ready to move on.

Levy going on about mad transfer fees and then spending £42m on a 21 year from the Dutch league

Four players in the last ten days or so. Wonder if Levy ever considers what they could achieve if they didn't £#%&! about at the end of every window.

Very decent starting eleven on paper now tbf.

Aurier and Rose as wingbacks with Sanchez, Vertonghen and Alderwiereld as your back three. Fair play to Pochy

Only reason we didnt go for Aurier must be Ibra. TBH id take Aurier over Ibra.

Yeah for that system it's a very nicely balanced team. Llorente a better Kane replacement too.

Depth is still quite abysmal though. Unless they have a few more coming through, which Poch is good at.

Or the fact we have Valencia who has been superb the last couple of years. We don't need Aurier.
