He's playing great but he'll injure himself eventually

That depth allows Lindelof to bed in slowly, in a lesser squad he might have been chucked in alongside rubbish and had a very difficult start. Still looking at Tunazebe btw, he looks ready, already too good for reserve level. Mou may have identified Lindelof but if now he does not think he is good enough? Not the type of manager to play him simply out of loyalty to an idea.
But you answered your own question there. The form of Bailly and Jones makes it very conceivable that Mourinho is telling the truth about easing Lindelof in. He has that option and if it can be done it's the most sensible way. Doesn't mean he thinks he's not good enough long term.

Axel should probably have been sent on loan like TFM. Young defenders need games to develop and iron out issues in their game.

So maybe his not doing so is a sign he is still in JM's plans?

Think the fact that he looks like he can come in cold and perform rather than needing a run of games and looked comfortable in midfield means he will probably stay until Rojo is fit then be loaned out for the rest of the season.

Perhaps. Struggle to see him starting many unless someone is moved on. Think he is 20 in a few months. Loan and regular football seems like a better option for him at present to me. May improve his chances for the following year.

Aye, were probably looking at 3 or so years as the earliest we could expect him as a first teammer so as much football as possible between now and then is a must.

Had a bit of a mare yesterday, so did Bailly, a little lack of cohesion to be expected after the internationals though, was a bit daft on the 2nd goal though. He is making stupid mistakes like that less and less..
