It's done.

You can rest easy.

This is rock bottom and we will rise up from this.

Woodward hopefully gone from the club next month. It really does feel like a fresh start.

He can turn it around
Yeah right 😌

This man said we were "close" after losing 5-0 at home to liverpool.

Can you imagine how disgusting it must be as an elite player to be coached by someone so clearly out of their depth.

I am expecting a MASSIVE improvement once the new man is in. We had the worst manager in the league guys.

It really it piss poor that we have decided to do this now, 48 hours before a crucial champions league tie in Spain, when we’ve just had an international break.

What did they think was going to happen yesterday, or in any of the coming games that would avoid this scenario. They must have been desperate for us to get something yesterday. Not for our seasons prospects, but to buy them another week of doing £#%&! all.

As much as Ole has hit the wall, we really shouldn’t forget the real problem here.

Lopetegui not a bad call actually as a decent long term alternative.

Sevilla currently top of la liga iirc.

Beat us and Inter in the europa semis and final a year ago.

Did well enough to be hired by Spain and then Real madrid. Though he left very quickly at Madrid, never had a fair crack due to the politics of his Spain exit. Was a lot of bad blood as he said yes to the job while the world cup was about to start.

We are the biggest club in the world, with a wealth of talent. Any ambitious manager would love a crack at this.

Sevilla current coach. They're top of the league. Can't say it's a thrilling prospect but it's not the worst option.

Lopetegui that is, not Sharon Stone.

New manager style

Lopetegui wants his side to control the tempo of the match. His side offers fast-paced football accompanied by short passing and combination play.

Sevilla mainly lines up in a 4-3-3 formation. With possession, the shape transfers into 3-4-3. Sevilla looks to build from the back. The two centre-backs split and the defensive midfielder j drops in between them to form a three-man backline. This allows the two fullbacks to move up.

Manchester United announces that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as manager.

Ole will always be a legend at Manchester United and it is with regret that we have reached this difficult decision. While the past few weeks have been disappointing, they should not obscure all the work he has done over the past three years to rebuild the foundations for long-term success.

Ole leaves with our sincerest thanks for his tireless efforts as Manager and our very best wishes for the future. His place in the club’s history will always be secure, not just for his story as a player, but as a great man and a Manager who gave us many great moments. He will forever be welcome back at Old Trafford as part of the Manchester United family.

Michael Carrick will now take charge of the team for forthcoming games, while the club looks to appoint an interim manager to the end of the season.

Interesting that they've made it clear it will be an interim until the end of the season. I'm convinced we want Ten Hag and can't wait to be disappointed.
