Juve been speaking to Raiola about De Ligt apparently. Looks like Barca will be pushed all the way to spend full whack.

We will no doubt help by giving them £200m for Coutinho

That would be a standard Utd from the last 6 years move. Bring in player who likes to play in an inside left attacking midfield role, while also having Pogba who likes to play in an inside left, attacking midfield role.

Hopefully Ole can guide the club beyond this type of avoidable buffoonery.

Reckon Phelan will be a big voice in that. The lineage he brings from working under Ferguson and being in meetings discussing transfers with Ferguson will be invaluable because when we talk about certain players not being "United players" we're doing so because we think of United in the image of Ferguson. Obviously Ole encapsulates that but in a managerial sense having an experienced no.2 further adds to the dynamic. The previous managers brought their own men to their circle and in doing so changed the description of what a "United player" is.

See what you're saying but if that's the case he's also had his fair share of input to some absolute shit @#%&!s of players

Barca apparently want Jovic...

So in the last few years they’ve basically built a new very exciting team (on paper).

Arthur, Lenglet, De Jong, Dembele, Todibo, Malcom and if they add De Ligt + Jovic this summer then that’s some great business...

Arthur is the nuts mate, dribbles well, excellent range of passing, and he slotted straight in which most players normally take a lot longer to do at Barca.

They've looked at the nonsense prices, probably assumed it's only going to get worse so they've done their rebuild quickly and efficiently. Meanwhile we are still stuck on a rebuild that we've been attempting for about 5 years now. Good stuff
